From Skrad: In the center of Skrad, turn left off the state road D3 Rijeka – Zagreb and descend the paved road to the excursion site. This road is only accessible by car or van.
The road is not suitable for buses and larger vehicles. The drive takes approximately 15 minutes (9 km). This road is the only possible car access to the excursion site. The road is currently in poor condition, narrow, winding, and steep. During weekends and holidays, there may be congestion due to difficult vehicle passing. It is recommended to leave the car in the center of Skrad or at the railway station and then proceed on foot to the excursion site.
From the direction of Delnice: Before Brod na Kupi, turn towards the village of Ložac and continue on a narrow road to the forest parking lot. The road is partly paved and partly gravel. The parking lot is suitable for parking larger vehicles (buses, mini-buses) as well as cars. Continue on foot along the footpath next to the Curak stream to the mountain house in Zeleni Vir. The walk takes about 30 minutes.
Skrad Railway Station to Zeleni Vir Waterfall (approximately 40 minutes): on foot from the Skrad railway station. You can park your car around the railway station. You need to cross over the railway tracks and continue walking about 200 meters to the right until you reach the start of the trail to Zeleni Vir Waterfall. The trail is signposted and marked.
Vražji Prolaz Canyon to Zeleni Vir (approximately 1.5 hours): on foot from the Skrad railway station heading south on the asphalt road, you pass by an abandoned transformer station building, cross the railway tracks at a marked crossing, and continue on a gravel road to a junction in the forest. From there, markings will guide you on a forest trail leading to the Muževa hiša cave.
